Calm Christmas, Day 1 of my Kick Start Christmas Class Series

Hello there,
This is going to be a picture heavy post as the ladies joining me had a choice of colour combos; Red which used the Season of Style stack or Blue which included the Winter Frost stack
I made each card in two colour ways, so for this series of posts I'm going to let the pics do most of the talking! Enjoy :-)
This card uses Calm Christmas...
The blue colour way uses Midnight Muse, Pool Party and Smoky Slate colour way
this sentiment is included in the set
and a side view, with lovely Chevron Ribbon in Island Indigo;-)
This "Red" version is mostly Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede, paper is the Season of Style stack and where the red comes in on this card as well as the Cherry Cobbler Chevron Ribbon of course ;-)
and this sentiment fits perfectly in the XL Oval Punch
and a side view of this version :-)
and finally for today, together again, ahhhh, he he!
Right, that's all for today,

Last Day (4) of Giggle Greetings

Hello,
This morning I have the first of my Kick Start Christmas classes but I just wanted to pop on here and share the last of my Giggle Greetings class cards with you. Today's card uses the cute dog image.
I used a colour combo of Crumb Cake and Tempting Turquoise and I think the turquoise really lifts this card turning it from very neutral to bright and cheery, just like the sentiment ;-)
We stamped in Basic Grey and used Ink Pads and blender pens on watercolour paper...
and the Chevron Embossing folder was used with some of the yummy Burlap Ribbon
And here is the whole class together, if you want to see the other cards in closer detail please scroll down or click on the Giggle Greetings label at the bottom of this post :-)
OK, I'm off for now
Back tomorrow with the first of the cards from this weeks class,
'till then thanks for stopping by!

Day 3 of 4 with Giggle Greetings

OK, so today I have the third in my set of four cards we made using the Giggle Greetings stamp set last week.
Things have been really busy here with hubs working away this week, DS 1 working/studying late, plus all the usual goings on with the other children and of course I have been busy prepping for my All Day Class too, I will be editing the pics asap so sharing the cards here next week hopefully ;-)
Anyway, all that means that this is going to be short and (I hope) sweet post today...
I used yummy Silver Ribbon and the Cloudy Day embossing folder, which I didn't realise 'till today is retired, oops! It is, as I type, still available on the Clearance Rack for just £4.49! Check out the Clearance Rack HERE but please remember once it's gone, it's gone for good! ;-) The blue card is the yummy new colour Soft Sky teamed with Cherry Cobbler accents, it's a very summery feeling colour combo this, especially as it's grey and not that nice here!
As with the other cards (if you want to see all of them click on the 'Giggle Greetings' label at the end of this post) I stamped in Basic Grey and coloured in with blender pens and ink pads, I found with this image that less (ink) was definitely more..
and an arty angle showing plenty of depth to this card to finish this post off for you today!
Right, that dreaded housework is a callin' Yay for me!
Stampin' Hugs from me for today,

Clearance Rack now in the UK!! Oh, and a card with You're My Hero stamp set ;-)

A day off from Giggle Greeting as there is lots of other exciting news...
Whoop!! I am so excited to share with you the NEW UK clearance rack, there are so many bargains on there, lots of goodies reduced by up to 80%!!
I am off for another look through in just a minute ;-)
So, want to know how to get there huh?
Go to my ONLINE SHOP,  Click SHOP....
This page will open up in a new tab, click on the Clearance Rack tab..
and take a good look through, *TIP: I like to change the "show" (as seen below) to "ALL"  then you can just scroll through all the goodies at once ;-)
Please note; the products on the Rack are first come first served and will not be re-stocked as they are not in any current catty so please order when you see to avoid disappointment!
So, onto a card! This one is for a guy hubby works with and yes, he is a fire fighter ;-)
Gotta love this set, I know it will get a lot of use here ;-) It's called You're My Hero and it's a bargain at just £13.95 in clear mount!
these letters are called "Alpha" which it's actually a wheel stamp I have un-mounted. I just inked the letters I needed with the Pacific Point marker
Fire Engines were also inked with markers before I stamped and then cut out adding them to stitched grosgrain ribbon roads ;-)
Inside I inked and stamped off the fire engine onto scrap paper then huffed and stamped again without re-inking for a paler image
Right, time to get kiddies already! Where has the day gone??
Thanks for stopping by today,

Giggle Greetings by SU! (2 of 4)

Hello again,
Today's card is the second in my Giggle Greetings class and again uses the same idea of a simple embossed background paired with the layered image. For this card we used the Honeycomb Background Folder and in a colour combo of Pistachio Pudding with a touch of Soft Sky. That's the Ticket sentiment was used with it's matching Ticket Duo Punch and was added to the Linen Thread to complete this card...
The same as yesterdays card we stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured in using blender pens and ink pads
and an side view to finish for today
 Thanks for stopping by today,

Giggle Greetings Cat Card (1 of 4)

Hi there,
Last week I ran my Giggle Greetings class and I want to share with you today the first of the set of 4 cards we made.
I went with a Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate colour combo for this card and used the new Stylish Stripes embossing folder from the Autumn/Winter catty..
We stamped onto watercolour paper with SU! basic grey ink (it's waterproof and gives a much less harsh look than black can) then we used ink pads and blender pens to colour in the images, I love this sentiment, so funny! ;-)
and we added plenty of dimensionals and added some yummy Blushing Bride chevron ribbon across the bottom, the brad is a retired one from last summer
OK, back tomorrow with the "cheese" image from the set ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today,

Quick Chalk Talk Thanks

Hello there,
I have been busy today cutting loads of card up and generally getting ready for next weeks all day classes then work tonight so I'm a tad later than I planned!
This card was a super quick make using a Chalk Talk sentiment which I inked just the sections I wanted using markers so it changes up the look a bit ;-)
The paper is Quatrefancy speciality again and the retired tag punch it reminds me a a family or school emblem on this card don't you think?
Love this scratchy look font and it fits lovely in this retired tag punch. I also added a few spots from Gorgeous Grunge in Pink Pirouette so it was nice a subtle....
I made a paper flat bow with some off cuts I had sat around, I like to use up the little bits ;-)
OK, that's me for today, back tomorrow with the first of my Giggle Greetings class cards.
Thanks for stopping by today,

Gorgeous Grunge Class Card

Hello there,
I have a card today which was inspired by this card the very talented Jenni,
I loved the layout and was dying to try out my new Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and so this is my version.
I used a colour combo of Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe, another firm favourite.
My version has a few differences including the Chalk Talk label and some of the very pretty Cantaloupe ruffled ribbon too :-) I LOVE this stamp set, it's so versatile and whilst it doesn't replace the spritzer tool (which a lot of my ladies found hard to squeeze) it's a great alternative to make creative backgrounds and it's a lot more controlled too...
Plenty of layering on this tag..
and a close up of the ruffled ribbon and linen thread too :-)
OK, that's me for today, thanks again to Jenni for the inspiration!
